Event Title

Environmental Trends in British Columbia – A 2016 Overview

Presentation Abstract

The British Columbia Ministry of Environment has made information available on the state of the environment for the public and decision makers for over 20 years. In 2012, the Province launched Environmental Reporting BC, a new web-based approach to state of the environment reporting (http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/soe/). Environmental Reporting BC provides access to scientific data and information in the form of indicators that examine the state and trends of our environment. This poster will summarize current environmental trends across British Columbia based on a set of recently updated environmental indicators covering topics such as air quality, climate change, sustainability and more.
