Abstract
This project is a brief literature review of speech disorders, which encompass dysfunction in the production of culturally acceptable phonemes as well as a person's ability to produce sound. Relevant statistics are interspersed to approximate prevalence of the categories of disorder reviewed. A study is included to contrast the prevalence of voice-related issues within a subpopulation to the general population.
