Abstract
identifying eelgrass wasting disease (EWD) lesions on digital images of samples of eelgrass cuttings taken from around the Salish Sea, where each sample was pre-designated on the image sometime close to the time of initial collection. EWD is, according to some prior research by Morgan Eisenlord, likely a symbiotic paring of two protists that parasitize eelgrass hosts, but have recently started to kill the hosts more often that previously documented.
