Description

Gold nanoparticles have many applications in medicine, drug delivery, plasmonics, and analytical chemistry. The morphology of the particles greatly influences their usefulness. Their synthesis is somewhat complicated, and there are many different ways to synthesize different morphologies. Once synthesized, samples are characterized using a variety of techniques.
