The Power of Spaces: Creating Spaces that Empower Learning
Research Mentor(s)

Description
How a space is presented influences the success within it. The environment surrounding an individual will impact their brain function which directly relates to how one will feel in and about a space. This is especially true with spaces of learning and what a student's educational experience and outcome can be. A huge contributor to educational success is a learning space that is welcoming, engaging, and safe. Supporting educational success can start with creating a space that engages and empowers its students. A space that welcomes students and allows them to feel safe to learn in. Let’s improve learning and empower students by starting with a very exposed and foundational element, the very space in which it takes place.
