The Political Economy of the Climate Pledge Arena

Research Mentor(s)

Derek Moscato

Description

My final paper for Honors 352 - Icing the Kraken was about the political economy of the Climate Pledge Arena. My research found that the Climate Pledge Arena and the Kraken NHL team's commitment to sustainability and leaving the smallest carbon footprint possible is likely to have a substantial impact on how the NHL views green sports and how other countries view the US and their efforts to make up for the environmental damage caused by modernization.
