Abstract
Throughout my coursework at Western Washington University, I learned many concepts and a plethora of applicable knowledge regarding environmental and ecological fields of study, I had yet to feel that knowledge being applied to real world work, and an internship through Wetlands & Wildlife Inc. seemed like a perfect fit for doing so, before graduating and attaining an actual career in the scope of my schooling. My previous internship at Woodinville Water District over Summer 2023 was very valuable experience for myself, but the work was predominantly work in ArcGIS Pro, some simple GPS work, and within the context of a city government professional environment.
