Abstract
The internship itself heavily revolved around animal care and facility upkeep, as well as collaboration with staff and public education. I felt I met the goals I set out by learning about and truly feeling immersed in the unique ecology of Whatcom County, with the connection I felt to the season and the environment being truly amazing.
