Abstract
My main focus throughout this internship was outlining a specification book that can be used in the future to ensure consistency throughout all of the Habitat for Humanity’s affordable housing projects. I did thorough research into the different types of formatting standards for specification books, and learned about MasterFormat and UniFormat, both of which are licensed by the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI). After talking with Virginia about the formatting options, we decided to start outlining sections for the specification book following the MasterFormat standards.
