Abstract
The library is often the unsung hero on campus, supporting research needs without taking the spotlight for itself. How can you ensure your library gets the visibility and support it deserves? At Western Washington University, the Provost is the first to acknowledge “the importance and centrality of the Libraries to all that we do at a university." Join us for a free webinar in which Kim Marsicek, Institutional Repository Manager and Jenny Oleen, Scholarly Communications Librarian at Western Washington University, describe Western Libraries’ campus-wide services and institutional alignment that have repositioned the library as a key player on campus. Kim and Jenny will share how they:
- Tailor their campus outreach to best suit specific needs
- Leverage their roles to connect with strategic partners around campus
- Ensure continued support from administration, including the Provost
