Abstract

Adoption has steadily declined over the years due to the tightening of adoption policies around the world. Adoption laws within the U.S. have also changed throughout the years as new issues are brought to light about the adoption community. Confusion surrounding all the legal information can leave people frustrated with where to start and how to get informed, whether they are seeking to adopt or are already a part of the community. Our project is meant to create awareness about the adoptee experience as well as to equip people with knowledge about adoption policy, in order to create more understanding about the adoption community, from the perspective of international adult adoptees.
