Abstract
Have you ever wondered what happens while you sleep? Using historical, scientific, and theoretical data we superficially analyze what we believe happens while we're unconscious. We have compiled the most salient contributors to the study of dreams into one presentation, including the Ancient Egyptians Oneiromancy to Freud's psychoanalytic dream interpretations to modern fMRIs. We also discuss the more spiritual side of lucid dreaming and what that may entail.
