Abstract
This thesis serves as a resource for collaborative pianists, offering strategies for score simplification, text analysis, and artistic collaboration with voice, clarinet, and viola. These strategies are applied through the study of John Corigliano’s Poem in October, selected movements from Robert Muczynski’s Time Pieces for piano and clarinet, and Johannes Brahms’s Sonata for Piano and Viola, Op. 120 No.
